Birthstone Jewelry

We make eight of the twelve birthstones. Here is the whole calendar, so you can see straight away whether yours is one of them — and what we'd suggest if it isn't.

Month Stone What we have
January Garnet 252 pieces →
February Amethyst 279 pieces →
March Aquamarine Not in our collection. The nearest thing we make is blue topaz — blue, and often paler, but it is not aquamarine.
April Diamond 30 pieces →
May Emerald Not in our collection. The nearest green we make is peridot — an olive green, not an emerald green.
June Pearl & Moonstone 114 pieces →
July Ruby Not in our collection. The nearest red we make is garnet — closer to wine than to ruby.
August Peridot 191 pieces →
September Sapphire Not in our collection. The nearest we make is iolite — a blue violet that shifts with the angle. It is not sapphire and we would not sell it as one.
October Opal 35 pieces →
November Citrine 133 pieces →
December Blue Topaz, Tanzanite & Turquoise 392 pieces →

Why we list the months we can't serve

Because you would find out anyway, and it is quicker this way. A store that quietly offers you a green stone when you asked for emerald is hoping you won't look closely. We would rather tell you what a stone is, and let you decide whether it is the one you wanted.

Where we suggest something, it is a suggestion and not a substitute. Peridot is not emerald. Iolite is not sapphire. Blue topaz is not aquamarine. They are their own stones, and good ones, but they are not the thing you searched for.

What every piece has in common

  • 925 sterling silver, hallmarked. The stamp is in the metal — turn the piece over and check it.
  • Natural gemstones and cultured pearls. Never simulated.
  • Free insured US shipping, no minimum, out the door in 1–2 business days.
  • 30 days to return or exchange, with no restocking fee. Return shipping is yours.

If you are not sure what you are buying, here is how to read a 925 hallmark and tell solid silver from plated.
