In case you do not know how a freshwater pearl is grown into existence. A piece of a seashell is cut into the desired shape and size and placed into the oyster, where then the oyster does its natural process of creating a pearl surface on the given shell shape. Some pearls have been left in the oysters for several years even though the oysters have been given a shape by man, nature still varies the finished pearl.

Some of the shapes and sizes of pearls are becoming rare because of pollution and warming ocean temperature. Thus, prices continue to rise. I use a quality commercial grade to make items affordable and appropriate for the silver jewelry buyer.
